If you love sports, but hate commercials or breaks, then you’ll love today’s #FitnessFunFriday!
Watching a game, for me, is a great way to relax after a long, exhausting day. While football is only on Sunday’s hockey season is almost half of the year. I love being able to watch my Pens every time they play. But what I hate, is listening to commercials and the intermission reports. So when I started to get serious about my weight loss journey, I decided to start walking.
During commercial breaks, I just walk around the room I’m watching the game in. Since commercials are shorter, it’s quick and simple, so I don’t miss any of the action. And then during the 20 minute intermissions, I walk around my entire house, including going up and down steps. It’s an easy way to not have to listen to the commentators all while getting in a good workout.
I love this, because I get about 2K steps in those 20 minutes, and if you’re in those Fitbit competitions, it’s a great was to surprise your opponents.
So the next time you turn on a game, no matter what sport it is, walk around during the breaks. I promise, you won’t regret it!
Until next time!
