Monday is back and if you’re anything like me, so are those Monday Blues.
Last week I talked about thinking about Monday as just a new day. But sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we can’t escape those Monday feelings that society has created.
So what do we do when we can’t see past the bad in a Monday? We celebrate #MovieMonday!
Watching your favorite movie(s) is another great way to escape reality. Like I talked about yesterday with reading, escaping your current reality is a great way to stop your anxiety from taking control.
I recommend watching movies you know you enjoy, that way there are no surprises that can trigger anxiety attacks. Some of my favorite #MovieMonday choices are Disney movies! (shocking I know) I also enjoy Rom Coms or movies that feature my favorite actor or actress.
No matter what movie you choose, once you press play, allow yourself to get sucked into that world. If you allow yourself a couple of hours, you’ll find peace with your Monday’s. Remember, you ALWAYS have time to take care of yourself. Self care is so important, so don’t forget that.
